Our Material

1. Premium Stainless Steel with Gold Plating

Most of our jewelry is made from premium stainless steel (316L) and plated with 2-3 micrometers 18k gold applied by PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technique. It's durable, rarely discolors, and is more scratch-resistant than sterling silver, brass, or gold.

Our premium stainless steel jewelry is designed to last—resistant to tarnishing, scratching, and built to shine beautifully over time. Whether you're showering, working out, or swimming in the sea while traveling, your jewelry stays stunning. Feel free to live boldly—your jewelry can keep up.

For best results, we recommend giving it a gentle clean now and then.

2. Glass Beads

Our glass bead pieces are crafted using delicate seed beads, known for their vibrant tones and intricate detail. These small beads are ideal for layering, weaving, and creating playful textures that stand out while still feeling effortless.

While glass beads are surprisingly resilient and can handle the occasional splash, we recommend keeping them away from water to maintain their brilliance over time.

3. Freshwater Pearls

Timeless yet modern, our freshwater pearls bring a soft elegance to any Lysa Jewelry piece. Each pearl is naturally unique in shape and texture, making every design one of a kind—just like the person wearing it.

Cultivated using freshwater mussels, these pearls are composed entirely of solid crystalline nacre, giving them their signature luster and strength. While freshwater pearls can handle light exposure to water, we recommend keeping them dry to preserve their soft glow. Also, avoid prolonged sunlight to maintain their natural color and shine.

4. Brass with Rhodium Plating

Our brass jewelry is made from recycled brass (67% copper, 33% zinc) and meets EU REACH standards. It is nickel-free and plated to extend lifespan. Brass, like sterling silver, is softer than stainless steel and can develop small scratches. Our silver-colored brass is rhodium plated, while gold-colored brass is plated with 14K gold after a copper layer to match our gold-plated steel.

Rhodium, a platinum group element, is used to plate silver or brass jewelry. It hardens the surface, making it more scratch-resistant, shinier, and extending its life against oxidation and darkening.
